Uniform
Uniform at Bishopton is simple and cheap on purpose. It helps pupils feel part of the school, and coming in uniform is part of being ready, the first of our three values: ready, respect and resilience.
Every pupil is given a free jumper and polo shirt when they join. If you need help with uniform, contact the school.
What pupils wear
- Navy jumper or sweatshirt
- White polo shirt or school shirt
- Black trousers or skirt
- Black shoes or trainers, with no visible marks or logos
PE kit
Pupils change out of uniform for PE, for hygiene and so they can take part properly. PE kit is:
- A plain sports top
- Black or navy PE shorts of an appropriate length (not cycling shorts), sports leggings or tracksuit bottoms
- Sports trainers
If a pupil arrives in something that does not meet the guidance, we offer them the right item to change into. If they would rather not, we ring home and agree what to do next.
